My insurance company wanted me to go to another shop in Leaside as it was close to my home. When I looked up the reviews on Google the other shop was only 2*. The reviews for Direct Repair were really good so I chose to go with them. I wasn't disappointed! Dougie the owner fought to have new parts put on my Mitsubishi when the insurance company wanted to put after market. My car was ready within a week of dropping it off. The service level is excellent and Dougie is a super cool guy and an awesome story teller! 5 stars for Dougie! Thanks :) Update: this is a little bit late but I was t-boned by a car in Feb/2020 just before the pandemic. I was headed to the hospital via ambulance and my husband had to stay at the scene. There were tow truck drivers there hounding him to take the car. I told my husband to call Dougie as I had such a positive experience with him the last time. His shop was closed but he said don't let any of those guys take the car to any of their shops and just bring it here. After much arguing with the tow truck driver he finally did what my husband asked and took the car to Direct Repair Leaside. Dougie gave us 5 star service once again. The car ended up being a write off but I will always go to Dougie for any repairs to my vehicles.
I had a great experience at this shop, I drove over wet road paint few weeks ago and was confused as to what to do with it. Called few shops and all gave me different answers, some said its not repairable, some said we’ll see what we could do and one shop told me to open an insurance claim and get the full body painted. I called this shop and drove my car over there and they said its doable and they did it perfectly, no marks of paint left on my car yet they didn’t touch or harm my paint. Very friendly staff and the manager was awesome and helpful.
Phenomenal service and terrific people. We decided to give some much needed TLC to our VW Passat recently, so we brought it to Direct-Repair Leaside. We received such uncommonly polite and competent service, we just had to comment and recommend. If you’re looking for body work and windshield replacement, absolutely consider this business. They will go above and beyond. Also, the waiting room has two massive and pristine aquariums that I loved looking at during my brief waiting periods.

Someone keyed my 2020 Kia Forte after only having it for a few months. After getting quoted a ridiculous price by the dealership, found Direct Repair on Google. I’m really happy I did. Not only was their quote substantially lower. But the job was excellent. The door looked exactly the same as the day I bought it. Customer service top notch! Can’t recommend them enough! Hopefully I don’t have any need for body work. But if I do, I know where to go.
