No frills functional storefront but the food is phenomenal! Don't be fooled. If spice is your thing, ask for it to be tailored to your taste. Got my roti extra spicy today. It was FANTASTIC! Thanks for the real deal.????????????????????
The place is filthy, and I mean FILTHY.... seems like most positive reviews are from people that have no clue what REAL Jamaican food is suppose to taste like... chicken soup taste like he dumped a bag of curry powder in it... couldn't eat it, went straight in the garbage...roti is FAR from real roti, it's just TERRIBLE... again, that went straight in the garbage... couldn't eat ANYTHING I bought from this place... I wouldn't let my dog eat here.... STAY AWAY, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
Today I did a search for another restaurant that serves Caribbean food. The other week we went to another place and we were unimpressed to say the least. Today, I found "Negril's Jerk Hut" online and suggested to my husband that we try it out. Long story short, he got the curried goat and I got the jerk chicken combo. I can't stress enough how delicious the food is. My husband was pleased with the curried goat - there was an ample amount of meat. I absolutely LOVED the jerk chicken. It was moist and succulent. The rice was superb and the cole slaw, simply delicious. We will definitely go back for more, but I told my husband that I want double jerk chicken next time. Thanks for making such great food.
