Stopped by Lucas Automotive today to see what was wrong with my window (it was stuck and wouldn’t go up) and the service was outstanding! Everyone was professional, polite and knowledgeable. After looking at my car they told me I need a new window regulator, gave me a very reasonable price and told me they could have it done within an hour. After 40 minutes my car was finished and the window works like a charm! They also went above and beyond by informing me of why my check engine light is on and after a short conversation I was provided with a great quote and I will definitely be retuning to get that fix. Overall they are amazing and I would recommend them to everyone!
This place is phenomenal!! Employees are very friendly and it’s the first place I visited where you can trust mechanics not to up sell you unnecessary service or parts. Prices are very reasonable too. Will definitely comeback I continue coming back here for maintenance and service is always exceptional.
Check engine light came on while heading out to PEI for a family vacation. The owners are great people. Realizing the issue could shutdown my vacation plans, they got to work right away and found the source of the issue. I was out the door the same day and the camper van is running better than before. Top class!
I have used Lucas 3 times now, once for a clutch replacement, once for a wheel bearing and ball joint replacement and alignment, and once after a small accident, which just turned out to be cosmetic so they gave me a referral to a body shop. I have always found Greg to be friendly and honest, and their work to be top notch. Pricing seems fair, and although they are usually busy, they still get the work done quickly in my experience. I have found my go-to mechanics in this area, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend or neighbor. UPDATE 6 years later and Lucas has been the only place we take our cars. Greg, George, and the rest of the staff have treated us like family and I have never once left feeling overcharged, underserved, or otherwise disappointed.
It's nice to have a friendly place nearby that I can trust. I needed repairs done on my old truck that ended being much more difficult and lengthy than expected, and they stuck to the original quote! (Which I really appreciated!!) Sitting in the waiting room, I heard other customers coming in saying positive things which is always a good sign. I had seen other reviews by women saying they felt comfortable here and I'm glad I listened!
